Interesting cap that attracts attention! It is connected very simply, on ordinary knitting needles, and not on circular ones. This model uses a butterfly pattern.
There’s one knit hat
For her knitting need:
Yarn consisting of 52% acrylic and 8% wool, knitting needles No. 5, 4.
Gather on the spokes 92 loop.
We knit 4 cm. With a rubber band 2 by 2 (2 facial, 2 purl), after which we begin to knit with a butterfly pattern.
First row after elastic 2 for 2 knit: 1 edge loop, 5 facial. Then we put the thread in front of the product, remove 5 loops, then knit again 5 facial, 5 remove, the last edge loop. Purl rows – all the loops knit purl.
Thus we knit 5 facial rows, after which we should get strips of un-tied yarns.
In the 6th row, “butterflies” are made of un-tied threads.
We start the row with the edge loop, which we remove, then we knit 5 facial loops, then the “butterfly”: we knit the 2nd facial loops, then we thread the knitting needle under the 5 un-tied threads and knit with the third facial loop, then the 2nd facial loops and so on, 5 facial loops again, then a butterfly and so on.
We thread the needle through five threads, then knit the front one into the third loop. Then we continue to knit after the first pattern of “butterfly” in the following front row with 1 edge loop, 5 loops are removed, the thread is left before knitting, 5 face loops and so on. At the end of one edge loop. The pattern should turn out in checkerboard pattern.
Thus knit in height of 18 cm with an elastic band.
Next, we begin to turn down the loops from the wrong side and hide them in the “butterfly”, after finishing the reductions, the pattern includes three loops.
We knit the first row in this way: 1-edge, 5 front loops, thread is before knitting, 5 front loops, so repeat until the end, 1-and edge loop.
In the second row we knit all the loops with the purl.
In the third row we repeat everything the same as in the first.
In the fourth, all loops are purlists.
The fifth row is again repeated after the first.
The sixth is the 1st edge loop, the 2nd loop instead of the purl, three purl loops, this is the wrong side of the butterfly, 5 purl loops, again the 2nd instead of the purl loop, 3 purl, 5 purl, until the end of 83 loops.
In the seventh row we knit: 1-edge, 5 facial, the thread is before knitting, 4 loops will be removed, knit to the end.
Eighth row: 1 edge loop, 2nd loops instead of purl, 2nd loops, 5 purl loops, so we knit to the end of the row, 74 loops.
The ninth row: 1-edge, 5 facial, the thread is before knitting, three loops are removed, knit to the end.
In the 10th row, we knit all the loops in the loops.
In the 11th row 1 edge, 5 front, 1-and the front loop, “butterfly”, 1-and the front.
Then do another decrease:
In the 1st row – 1 edge, the thread is before knitting, we will remove 5 loops, 3 facial loops and so on until the end of the row.
In the 2nd row all the loops are purl.
The 3rd and 5th rows are knitted in the same way as the first.
4th – again all purl loops.
6th – 1 edge, 3rd purl, 2nd loop instead of purl, three purl and so on until the end of the row, 65 loops.
7th row: 1 edge, the thread is before knitting, 4 loops remove, 3 facial loops, so knit to the end of the row.
8th row: 1st edging loop, 3 purl, 2nd loops instead of purl, 2nd purl loops, so we knit to the end of the row, 56 loops.
9th row: 1st edging, we remove the thread before knitting 3 loops, 3rd face ptels.
In the 10th row all purl.
11th row: 1st edge, 1st front, “butterfly”, 1st front, which includes 3 loops, 3 front loops, and so on.
Then we decrease in each row:
1st row: 1st edge, 1st purl, diminish (2nd together) and so on until the end, 47 loops.
2nd row: 1st edge, diminishing (2nd together), 3rd facial and so on, 37 loops.
3rd row: 1st edge, 3rd purl, diminish, 29 loops.
4th row: 1st edge, decrease, 2nd facial, 20 loops.
5th row: 1st edge, 2nd purl, diminish, 11 loops.
We will leave so many threads to cover the stitching of the seam. Hook through 11 loops, grab the thread and stretch, tighten all the loops and sew up the seam. Have a nice knitting!
